At the head of Bullhead Lake we saw several waterfalls cascading from the snow pack up on the mountains. Swiftcurrent Pass had a good covering of snow and we passed several good size patches of snow beside the trail on our way to the lake.
A moose was very contentedly munching on the plants close to the trail and completely ignored all of us.(Thank goodness!)It was a super hike and was over way to soon!

these last two pictures from Beth F.
I have been trying to add some links that are very interesting but haven't figure out how yet. For now they are added below. Did you know that you can add pictures to Google Earth? I brought up Glacier Park and clicked on a little blue dot. It brought up a picture of Peigan Pass that someone had put there. Also at the Crown of the Continent website you can add pictures. . Find this at <http://www.crownofthecontinent.net/ > This site covers southwestern Alberta, southeastern B.C. and northwestern Montana. Here is the webcam website for Glacier <http://www.nps.gov/glac/photosmultimedia/webcams.htm>
