Bullhead Lake Hike-June 26th

The day was great, the hike was great (but done to quickly I hear) I wasn't there to drag my feet. I was sorry to miss it and appreciate pictures & comments from Loural and Beth Fisher.

Loural's comments: The day was perfect with a good breeze to keep us totally bug free and at just the right temperature for a great day of hiking. There were so many kinds of flowers that we were constantly stopping to check out new ones and try to figure out what they were. The beargrass were just starting to bloom so they looked a lot like little girl's skirts puffed out with crinolines. RedRock Falls were roaring with lots of water and prettier than I'd ever seen them. Gail enjoying RedRock Falls

At the head of Bullhead Lake we saw several waterfalls cascading from the snow pack up on the mountains. Swiftcurrent Pass had a good covering of snow and we passed several good size patches of snow beside the trail on our way to the lake.

A moose was very contentedly munching on the plants close to the trail and completely ignored all of us.(Thank goodness!)It was a super hike and was over way to soon!
