Sofa Mountain- a local trail that we haven't been on for several years

We are finally out in the open after climbing over a lot of deadfall on the trail
The ridge on the right is our destination for those that are willing to do the extra climb

The snow up there is the starting point for the ridge
Some of us had a little trouble crossing the snow- didn't we Elva
From here the climb to the ridge looks very steep
Some are nearly to the top

The final stop at lookout point. Marilyn, LaVern, Nancy, Bob, Dorene, Claire, Gerry. It looked like rain all around us as we were hiking but we stayed dry. Another great day with our hiking friends.
